Even in diamond there are still people who try to take your role away from you

Just now someone in champ select who has top selected as his role says 'going jungle' 'master tier yi jungle'.

Now i have jungle selected, and i may have given it to him if he had asked, but he refused, stating that he is jungling.

You know what i did? I banned yi. And you know what happened? Right before the game started, he dodged.

Don't, DON'T let one of these guys get away with stealing another person's role. I'll take a loss before i put up with someone like this.

Hey now, let's be fair, Yi takes skill to play.

Like, Yi players need to...........press Q. And not everyone has hands. Therefore he doesn't need nerfs.

I know this is a joke thing, but most of Yi's difficulty does come from the Q. Specifically, timing it right. Few things in league are more satisfying than Q dodging a Garen ultimate. Of course the rest of the difficulty is getting the W AA-reset.

actually. if you q garen ult. he will cancel animation and when you comeback from the alpa strike he will automatically ult you. I did it once and for some reason that what happened. am not sure if it was a glitch.

To be fair,although sometimes it does come down to anticipating opponents abilities,about 90% of the time it comes down to easy reflex checks,if you get hit by lux's snare for example then you just suck,if you avoid it however then congratulation: you're not god-awful.

Honestly I think this happens more in higher elo because the Q times are so high so they just go fill and then try to get the position they really want. So many people in low elo that never really happens.

Yeah, it's unfortunately a problem with the player base and poor expectations.

I expect everyone after 200-300 games to understand and competently play all the roles. Riot decided to cater to the people who can only play one role and in no so extreme circumstances, only one champ.

Like WoW though, success for Riot is measured in active players and $$ earned. Unless one of those changes significantly, the game will just continue on as is.

Most times I just minimize the selection window and mute most team mates. The game is fun, generally the other people who play are just a waste of time.

Playing 200-300 games has nothing to do with playing all roles. That is just a silly expectation to be honest. I could understand if you said 3 roles, but playing all 5 in ranked is just...not realistic in most cases.

Not trying to be rude or anything, just saying you don't have a realistic expectation. I understand being frustrated by someone who refuses to play more than one role, though, but I don't get expecting everyone to play every role. I honestly don't even see the point in that.

Few days ago I had first and second pick with Top and Jungle, I had support. First two just tell us (not asking TOLD US) they were going bot because they were a duo. Didn't say anything else the entire champ select and locked in bot lane.

Months later and people still don't get the fact that this new champ select has nothing to do with pick order for what role you get.
