Remember when baron was called the throwpit?
now even at 20 min spawn with how much sustain and low damage the baron does. its a money pit. pretty pathetic epic monster lol.

If a team can get Baron at 20, than you're either wiped, in which they're free to do so, or you have extremely poor control on vision.
In both cases, you're likely losing already. Baron is not meant to be an end-game boss, never has been. It's meant to be a hard objective that you need your entire team at in most cases, ignoring fringe cases like Nunu, and let's be honest, that's all Nunu does. Unless you wish to show a replay, this is what I'm prone to believe. I think your team was losing, and them getting Baron early just tilted you.
Baron is pretty epic and usually takes a few members on the same team to take it down without enemies contesting it.
Drake on the other hand could be a little more vicious, as I have witnessed level 5 Warwicks and Shyvana's doing it.
Imo difficulties are fine as they are, being that Baron is supposed to be contested. E.G. fighting for baron shouldn't leave you at half health if done with a half decent team comp, fighting a team after fighting baron SHOULD be disadvantageous, but it shouldn't cost you the fight. Baron's power comes in the pressure it has, if your team is ahead but cannot end the game due to the opposing comp having good wave clear, baron should be a way to bait them into fighting, or just getting the buff, but shouldn't force you to lose due to baron chunking everyone severely.
Dragon on the other hand is more of a vision game IMO. The team with better map awareness tends to win dragon, being that even a losing team can sneak it if the opposing team is not careful. Because dragon isn't really a "hard" objective, and shouldn't be one, especially considering that it's a gamelong spawn, in comparison to baron which is 20+.
Rift is decent 2 imo, being that if a team plays smart, a rift honestly doesn't have value, but if ignored it can snowball hard. The amount of time it takes to get rift herald also is pretty sufficient considering it's potential power.

Too bad empowered recall basically makes it impossible to catch the enemy team after they do baron.
Reactive shot calling won't get you anywhere in League, especially in solo Q

You'll always have fringe cases. One of my favorite parts of Fid jungle is being able to solo it around the time 2nd blue comes up. So long as the enemy jungler is elsewhere and my laners keep the opposition in the lanes, you're free to take it on your own.
Ahm...
Level 2 warwicks.....
I remember when most teams would not even attempt baron pre 27 min.
Also going for baron took quite a bit of time pre 32 min.
Now sometimes your trying to get your team to start grouping and stop going to there lanes at 20 min.
And while ur doing that the other team grouped a little faster, notices that bot lane went bot at 19:59, and proceeds to take baron in 20 secs.
Not to mention champions like
or a single kill
can solo it seconds after it spawns. and people say jax is pretty bad,so not sure how other champs are with it.
I can solo Baron with
if I have the enemy ADC's ghost
can confirm
Baron does a lot of damage, just not to tanks. Buffing the damage would kind of ruin it for every non tank jungle.
Here we can see someone that has never tried doing Baron at 20 minutes. If you are a squishy he literally 5 shots you. And how do you even let them take Baron at 20 mins lol

Because towers are paper and one fight can easily mean 2-3 turrets which has huge implications on vision and map control and with enchanters they can shield and give sustain to whoever is trying to tank the baron, not like it doesn't get melted anyway because of drakes, % hp working on epic monsters, and etc.
any team can take baron at 20. lterally any team so long as they rotate who is tanking properly (this includes the adc tanking because yes the adc will need to at one point) the thing is if your team allows the enemy team to your a idiot and deserve to lose that baron
that being said as a gangplank main the enemy team doing 20 minute barons is my heaven
Learn from the superior map, Twisted Treeline. Vilemaw is much more difficult to take down due to it's scaling and early strength and the lack of 2 people. It also rapes you with Debuffs making an enemy team catching you out at Vilemaw super dangerous since you are probably naked and missing 100 armor and MR. Vilemaw also attacks a ton, and pulls people running away back in.
When I was a kid, the tank would intentionally lose aggro and Baron would one-shot that arrogant mage in the back who always posts damage meters after trash.
Those were the effing days, baby. You know how many women I lost to pixels. They all leave in the end. The glory...the glory never goes away.
and then the team who gets baron wins because the gold plus the buff u get snowballs the game out of control
Definitely still a throwpit. You never take Baron in ranked EVER unless it's COMPLETELY safe to do so.
