There's a simple reason why tank supports are currently the best

SwapShadows··2 votes·409 views

tank supports are either doing more damage or equal damage to other types of supports while being tankier and having more CC.

Just look at braum and tahm kench, both have %damage (which btw is broken as shit) which just gives them huge amounts of damage no matter how behind or what their build is.

Solution: let's stop with the % hp damage, it's not healthy in any shape or form.

Where does Alistair do the damage?

You could argue his ultimate but he is more balanced than the popular tank supports currently

How does his ult give damage? It just reduces damage he takes by 70%

He gains bonus attack damage when he has ult on....

serious question, why are you trying to argue on something you don't know?

I'm not really arguing as I am asking questions. If I was arguing I'd have a point to make.

Like I just did there to your point.

Sorry for the confusion.

Braum Max hp dmg wtf? He has only 2 abilities m,excluding his passive that deals no damage after lv 7. While Thresh got empowered autoattacks for no reason with his overloaded kit

His Q deals damage based around his health. So the more HP he has, the more powerful that is.

His other abilities do not scale with health.

His Q scaling 2.5%. If you get a Warmog's, you do 20 more damage.

His Q scaling is crap.

Nice try but statistically incorrect. Even Blitzcrank, who sacrifices a lot of utility for high damage, is still slightly less than average. Tank supports are generally doing less damage but still getting more assists.

I mean, the tanks are basically pulling average support damages. Brand Vel'kog and Annie are pulling above average, and karma and Morgana are basically pulling average as well. Why pick Karma or Morgana who do similar damage as blitzcrank (and have to build AP to do so) when you can pick blitzcrank and build tank to do that damage amd also have your freaking annoying silence every 30s?

disregardable2 votes

Because they both have peel, and Blitzcrank doesn't. Morgana's 5v5 is much better than Blitz's, and Karma is a lot better in clutch situations.

Ralanr1 votes

Most likely because they are more up close and more likely to land an autoattack right?
