Why should I even pick Camille anymore?

I have 350~ Camille games and enjoy the fuck out of that champion, but she's been gimped into such a weak state that I feel like I could just first time Sejuani and get the same results.

Camille is countered by nearly every top lane matchup currently, simply by being outdamaged and outsustained by other matchups. I'll list literally every top lane matchup here and tell you how it goes.

Chogath - The instant you E in you get silenced, knocked up, auto'd and ate. You can go for short trades but then he heals back with his passive.

Darius - A competent Darius player will E you out of your E. You can then engage on him after, but he'll slow you with W, run, sustain with Q, then all in again with pull. It's really a skill matchup, but you need to take ignite into him.

Ekko - I've been seeing Ekko tops lately with Triforce full tank. They usually just half shot you with dorans ring, and he possesses the mobility to dodge every aspect of your kit.

Fiora - Parrys your E, Qs your W, can't passive shield max hp true damage, etc etc it's aids.

Gangplank - You can easily burst him at all stages on the game, but a good gangplank wont let you.

Garen - Silences you when you go in, Es you for 600 damage then sustains by existing.

Gnar - Poke, hop, hop, hop, super passive until frozen mallet then half shots you with base damage.

Gragas - He can E your E before you hit him because his E hitbox is bigger than his actual hitbox. He then bursts you through your shield with base damage while having item 3751 item 1054

Illaoi - Dodge her E and all in her, ult her ult, don't fight around tentacles, you win.

Irelia - You win before level 5 and then she chunks you for 20% of your health per auto with W. If you try engaging on her when her W is down she'll just E you and ult for sustain. Do we see a pattern here? All other duelists have some form of sustain :thinking:

JarvanIV - His EQ suffers the same problem as Gragas E in that it will displace you before you end up hitting him. You can still manage to kill him pre level 6, but don't worry because he'll come back to lane with a Serrated Dirk and one shot you.

Jayce - He'll just E you out of your ult or away if you try to engage on him. He usually stays back and pokes from 3 maps away with E Q.

Kled - Kled just outduels you at all stages of the game because high base HP and you deal flat true damage.

Malphite - He presses E and you dont exist for 3 seconds. Other than that you beat him pre-6.

Maokai - His passive heals him for a quarter of his health in lane so lets make it so it cannot proc on wards. Why has this not been nerfed yet seriously?

Nasus - Due to recent buffs it does not matter if you make him have 0 stacks by the time he hits level 6, he will still outduel you due to wither, E, and ult Q. Did I mention sustain?

Pantheon - Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q Q

Renekton - Es into you when you try to W, combos you then Es back out.

Akali - This bitch can literally press W to counter your entire ult. She can just W and stay invisible for the entire duration of your ultimate, + 4 seconds.

Riven - 100% Skill Matchup. I enjoy this lane.

Sion - ^^^^^^^^

Tryndamere - This is my permaban of choice. It doesn't matter how hard you grind him into dust early game. You could make him 0/20. That doesn't matter. He will afk push top and constantly pressure you to come back preventing you from roaming and helping your team. He will dive you with Stattic Shiv to your 3 items and he wins early trades completely based on RNG.

Yasuo - I enjoy this lane, specifically because he's really predictable and squishy. I win 9 times out of 10.

Yorick UrgotAatrox - I don't think these characters exist.

interesting note: you cry how camille isnt worth picking or playing but you this season along have a 59% win rate on her with 350 games played

which is impressive considering her over all win rate as a champ currently ... how much of this was due to how incredibly broken she was upon release ?

If you even ask this question, it disrespects the very concept of a One Trick.

You don't need to ask "why" you pick a champion. You pick that champion because you love her. Because you enjoy the character, the voice lines, the thematic, the skills, the itemization, the role, everything. The matchups and the meta all come second to a OTP. You don't adapt your champion choice to matchups or meta, so you change everything else instead. You change your itemization. You change your role. You change your playstyle.

If you have a hard time top, play Camille jungle. If you find she can't clear the jungle, play her mid. If she is getting killed by range mid, make her a kill lane support. It doesn't matter what anyone else is doing RELATIVE to Camille, you chose Camille because you love her in a vacuum.

I've played Nunu through thick and thin, constantly. I play him jungle, I play him mid, I play him support. When his kit was reworked to lose his magic damage on-hit, I started playing him as a juggernaut instead of a tank. When they removed Strength of Ages I switched back to uber tank because I couldn't do anything else. And when they gave us the new Stoneborn Pact I changed my build again to adapt. But I never changed my champion. I play some other champs like Sona and Trundle but Nunu will always be the character I default to.

She is so reliant to gank that u can always crush top lane with a pre made jungle , and then just roam everywhere with ur e and let . But without junglers or lead she is SHIT BAD i agree

I can give insight into the yorick lane from yorick's perspective. Early on, you want to play passive, trade when she wastes q, and poke with ghouls(camille will want to dodge the e at all costs) If camille uses e to go in, just wall and walk away. Post 6, just kill her, she can't deal with maiden.

I used to play a bit of camille and poppy. Refuse to touch em' until they get buffed. They're just way too weak now.

a champ who has her mobility ,true damage, shield, % hp damage and ability to cc on her ult has an over loaded kit so she has to suffer in either terms of tankyness or damage

and camille is typically good vs most tanks/bruiser she has winning match ups vs Ornn DrMundo Renekton Ekko Galio Trundle Gnar Garen

I don't see camilles often, and when I do they usually struggle early. But when they do get ahead, they just stomp everything, same pattern as Jax.

I just love how balanced Sion is that opponents enjoy facing him, but not because they stomp him.
