Make Storm Razor for DPS NOT Burst

item 3095 was meant for crit ADCs to have a good first item since item 3031 was changed but right now from what I know its good on these champions Quinn Rengar MonkeyKing and maybe Talon not 100% on that one. As you can see though none of these are really a crit reliant DPS champion. On Crit ADCs you're better off getting item 1038 and item 3086 item rushing item 3095 feels like crap. It sucks on Tristana Twitch Xayah Vayne it doesn't feel worth it onCaitlyn and to my knowledgeAshe cant even fucking use it, the crit ADC its good on is Jhin thats because it works so well with his passive and he himself is hardly a DPS champion.

One shot AD champions were fine they didn't need more items they have item 3147 they dont need another item to help one shot people they are doing fine without item 3095 is just kinda over kill for them. Am I wrong in saying this is this not a fair suggestion?

I've been telling people to stop rushing it on Crit ADCs and go BF into Zeal item, into IE. Get a mini spike, get your second zeal item and then hit your real spike.

Stromrazor just slows your spike ability down.

yeah I know and it sucks because they made this item specifically for a crit adc yet is bad on more that 95% of them I just dont see the logic behind the item even being made for them if it wasnt even good on them

Well if you remember we all thought it was going to be stupid strong on them at 1st, and I doubt a lot of people foreseen what it would turn into.

They reduced the crit chance threshold for maximizing the damage output. It clearly means that they intended the item for low crit chance builds.

Yo, here's a quick fix that will stop stacking both items and deal incredible damage :

item 3147 melee only item 3095 ranged only

boom fixed, but Riot will probably buff nerf add more damage give a new passive, add a displacement to it and make it untargettable

Or simply give them both the same named unique passive (Nightstalker).

This will stop assassins from getting both but will still be bad on crit ADCs that's kinda the main issue right now if it's made for DPS I don't see any of them using it

Not a bad start the the issue isn't because melee champions / assassins are using it making it ranged only means just that it would still be a terrible item on them aside from Quinn and Jhin

My spitball idea:

Make it so every 3rd or 2nd auto attack (depending on crit chance) is a guaranteed crit NOT the first. Then make it so Your Crits do surmounting damage starting at 140% increasing by 20% each consecutive crit capping at 200%.

The beta passive that gave the movement speed on every crit would have been OK for crit builds, but now it just becomes redundant for sustained damage ADCs building full crit.

To make it synergize with crit I'd say give Storm's Edge something like "Your next basic attack cannot crit, but deals 50% (+ .75 x %Crit Chance) bonus damage. This attack and every crit give 20% movement speed for .75 seconds"

That way if it's too good on non crit build or as a single item the initial bonus damage can be reduced while increasing the crit scaling, and getting that first attack still does something at 100% crit and doesn't force you to stop attacking for the movement speed, only for a +125% damage AA.

But that would just end up really disgusting - like one of the biggest problems with Jhin right now is he gets an absurd amount of MS every time he crits, which with Stormrazor, is basically every attack.
