. Can't wait for them to also nerf that. Fuck it, don't even let us take smite anymore. Make it to where we have some shitty passive summoner spell that gives 1% extra damage to camps instead of smite so we can give Kalista players a chance to take baron and dragon with their 4k damage E.
Retillin1 votesRiot is making a major mistake (or made depending on if you are a glass half empty guy) trying to use out-side levers to balance the jungle. Instead of dealing with the junglers that are crowding out other champions, they are looking for a "cure all" they can use to avoid nerfs to some "popular" junglers.

We can see they clearly want to do SOMETHING to the weaker junglers (otherwise they wouldn't have bothered to code that PBE only buff that collects camp data and clear times and such), the question remains would giving weaker junglers better clears actually solve any overall diversity issues, or would the stronger junglers still just outshine them?
Retillin1 votesWell, I think the form of helping the weaker junglers matter. If it is a buff to an item, I don't think it'd help really. Outside of either nerfs to the top junglers (nid, rek, Lee, ect..) or buffs to the weaker junglers (amumu, naut, ect...) I think their attempts will sadly end up as a failure. (granted I am speaking more for top level play and not your bronze-plat)
LoLKiru1 votesWell the way meddler (i think that was who said it) worded it, it sounded like they'd be tuning their kits or base stats. I've always thought that balancing champions themselves is the better way to go about fixing balance issues, rather than nerfing / buffing items (with a few exceptions to that rulee)
I wonder if any buffs to the weaker junglers would actually help them see more play (most of them to my understanding have pretty decent ganks, they just suffer from problems with clears) or if they'd still be overshadowed by generalists like Lee or other top tiers like J4 & Vi
