what if you got 94 lp

then you would say omg I'm at 94 I'm 1 point away from 95

anyway they already do that, you actually need 105 LP for promo series

but they let you do it with 100 LP

so really you're 6 LP away

nah, it's simple: since at that point having 94 lp would be really sad, we make it so that you will get to 100 right away once you reach 90. But wait.... we don't want people get angry because they reached 89... so let's make it 85.... no, but... then let's lower it again... ad again... Ok! You will get into promo series once you reach 0 LP. That's good, right?

People really hate losing right? Losing all their hard earned elo from sweat and tears. So instead, here at Riot games, we believe everyone's a winner!

So now, win or lose, you will gain LP because we believe everyone deserves Challenger and a shot at winning a World's trophy!
