Lvl 25... playing against lvl 50-60 players???

Level doesn't have anything to do with skill level. Level is just a implication on how many games you have played. The casual league player plays a lot of games without much increase in skill.

I'm level 90 in silver 1, doesn't really mean much

Eh I could see someone owning level 100+ players as soon as they get access to and control over all their runes and summs.

Of course, playing the game more gives you more knowledge and skill by nature, but it’s not impossible to supplement the gap to an extent, or for there to be really bad high levels.

Are you duoing with a higher level player?

Edit: and yeah what people said here is true, more games =/= higher skill level, they could have played 1000 normal games in the new system but have a 40% winrate and have crap MMR

There's a guy in EU server thats over level 500 from spamming coop vs ai (allegedly legit) with exp boosts (or he was like 519 a week ago so probably higher). Most challenger players who dont use exp boosts now are still under level 100. Do you think a guy who spams coop is 5x better than a challenger player? Level is irrelevent.

Summoner level has very little relevance when it comes to player skill
