Maybe it's just me, but could we make it so these 2 smites can't be used on lane minions? I'm that pleb that will occasionally smite a minion when trying to target an enemy champion. :)
Oh, and sometimes it favors champs over dragon which saddens me too =[

Erockandroll1 votesTheirs a certain level of Utility coming from the ability to smite a minion, even if it's just from a red/blue smite. The best thing to do is work on your targeting.
The best Utility a Jungler gets from smiting minions comes from Purple smite, because it gives them a fair amount of wave clear, and can help with wave management.
Dreadlocks1 votesYeah, the wave clear is nice on the purple smite, but these 2 dont have that. The biggest benefit i can see for these 2 to smite minions still is if you are playing sm1 with a skill shot and you want to smite that 1 minion in your way to land it. Which is probably enough to keep it the way it is. Oh well, doesn't happen to me often, and it hasn't happened recent, just an idea that popped in my head.
