[X juggernaut] is bad what do we do?

oh we completely trashed Trundle's main catch and sticking tool in slow potency, CD and mana cost, what can we do?

I know, lets buff his attack speed!

Oh, we want to see Darius at worlds, but he's having a hard time surviving after the game has been pumped full of ridiculous AOEs and he can't exist in a fight without eating a ton of unintended damage? Hey, lets slap some more AD ratios in there!

What's that? Nasus sucks because he gets kited to oblivion and hasn't fulfilled his fantasy as a late game carry in years? Hey, plus twelve, am I right gamers?

Two of these champions are even more annoying in low elo and all 3 still blow ass in high level games? Another epic win by the balance team!

Juggernauts shouldn’t exist period. They can’t be balanced. They should all be reworked into different classes

they can. they were balanced at the end of season 5.

yea, skarner and morde were really volatile and overtuned for a short time, but like 1 or 2 month before the end of the season, juggernauts overall were in a spot where they could actually take over games and carry when played well, but also not too strong.

the difference is really that they actually lived through teamfights, didnt immediately blow up on 5k health builds like they do today, and could translate that survivability into sustained damage.

That same bad argument could be used to dissolve any class of champs? Adcs? Unbalanceable, destroy them. Tanks? Unbalanceable, destroy them. Assassins? Unbalanceable, destroy them. Divers? Unbalanceable, destroy. Literally, juggernauts have created some of the least issues for other classes of champs compared to.most classes. You're just biased. If anything, more classes should be imbued with the same clarity of weaknesses and counterplay as juggernauts, and the game would be much better for it.

Don't worry TSM Riot Jatt is gonna carry the balance team

Trundle now requires 3 points on his E to be useful. Also, this will hurt Jungle Trundle, he requires his E to have good chances on a gank.

Juggernauts win fight almost by default when they get on top of someone. You cannot just hand them stupidly easy ways to get on top of People and expect that to make them balanced.

That’s the choice you make when picking them.

Just like when I pick jinx, I’m accepting that a talon can and will fuck me any time from any angle he chooses.

Honestly, I think little to no one on the balance team has ever actually played any of the juggernauts, at least not against opponents that know how to position/kite. It would explain things, such as their lousy itemization options (aside from Cleaver and Sterak's) and little to no defensive scaling options from runes. However, I do like that new Zephyr item they've been working on, things like that are what juggernauts need to actually compete, particularly the ones that don't build Black Cleaver.

Buffing Trundle's W doesn't really help him much, when he's having the most trouble in the early game right now (due to low ganking power and control). If he's jungling, he normally goes Q > E > W anyway, so he doesn't even benefit from this buff until much later on in the game. His pillar is currently godly when maxed out, but it offers little to nothing early on, and the way they changed his Q makes it so he deals less damage early on, when he's pretty much forced to rush health + resistances if he wants to actually contribute.

His damage has always been on the low end anyway, and the nerf to his Q's debuff duration (8 down to 5 sec) only serves to make matchups against mobile and/or ranged champions even harder.
