Does Katrina really need a reset on kill?

I know she has a weak early game and can be bullied and poked, but smart Katrina player will simply stay back from poke in lane and gank bot to get fed.

They can easily jump into a team fight and get 3 kill using ult almost instantly. Does she really need a kill cool down reset?

I saw a Vayne condemn kat away as she ran for her life, but as Kat did get a kill on Vayne team mate, Kat was merciless as she jumped on Vayne.

Wasn't the 1-3 kills she got after ulting enough? Did she really have to eat Vayne alive too?

Yes, literally all her base stats on abilities have been trashed due to the fact that she can only clean up.

Remove her passive and you need to redo her entire kit.

The reset is her full champion identity. She could be reworked into a tanky jungler with mana and she'll still need some kind of reset.

If you remove that powerful of a passive, you need to shift a lot of power.

Do you really want Katarina having more upfront power?

Could alter her passive so that instead of a reset it lowers cds on all abilities for a short time, but it's stackable. Get one kill/assist, -25% cd for 10 seconds. Get two, -50% cd, etc. Tweak it so the numbers don't feel broken. Put some power/utility/more dmg reduction on E or something so it's nor a horrendous nerf.
