i really enjoy her, and im a support main. im not sure how she'd be, but i imagine if i land my e me and adc can do good damage

I could see it being useful, except all of her skills are based around damage so you'd end up taking a lot of kills. Plus, being melee in bottom lane and not being a tank is really hard. You'd get poked out

Definitely possible, and something that I actually saw quite often when Illaoi was released. Not sure how well she is now, though. If you try it out, let me know how it feels!

illaoi grabs the enemy support she then becomes focused down by the adc and support or they fight the enemy adc because illaoi can't do anything xD It used to be, but with tentacle assists its become less burdening

Believe it or not that's how I got to my level 5! Haha. She's superb. In the beginning just build(masteries and runes wise) as if you were going to top lane. But start off with support items like Face of the Mountain and Sightstone. Once you've helped your adc scale into a beast- then YOU can start building into a beast.

E provides constant harass . Almost as if there's a third champion in the lane with you. (Tentacles)

So go for it!

No utility. Panth, J4, Yasuo, Trundle or Renek bring more as supports than her.

well i just got out of a game with it.

i went 2/5/2, made some pretty decent plays in teamfights.

we had a proxy singed though who was 0/7/0 so no teamfight

i had a game earlier today. Illaoi was supposed to top, but she didn't want to go against a quinn, so I (Nami at the time) switched with her.

I was top, she was support. It worked out extremely well and we won. I can pull up the match history if you'd like.

Possible? Yes. Good? Fuck no. She's about 2nd tier, going below Lux and about equal to Jax support. There are worse options (Jayce support, etc.) but not many.

Can Illaoi support? Kinda, she has the tools, but she lacks the CC/heals that other supports have. But she can make up for that with surprising amounts of damage.

She's focused around minimal cc and building damage, which don''t get me wrong can work, kill lanes are a known thing, but don't expect to be playing a supportive role in the team with her.

And yes while her E does allow you to get some damage on the target, sometimes without retaliation (most often than not, they'll just turn and murder your sorry ass) if that's what you're hoping for you might as well just pick blitcrank and not gimp your team in terms of cc, while having a better kill potential with his grab than with illaoi's
