You know how we lost strangth of the ages and jungler's loved that?

What if we made it so that fervor of battle DOES proc on minions and monsters, BUT resets/doesn't apply to champion. I.E. You will hve the bonus AD vs minions but when you're fighting champions you have to stack it up separately. That way, junglers will have an option for a keystone that will actually benefit them.

That would be nice, just might be a little odd/buggy to implement. However, I would reserve any judgement on jungle stuff till preseason is live (unless you have a PBE account) since they changed a bunch of the camps and smite functions.

Junglers do have options for a keystone that will benefit them and they should have more options now. Now that Strength of the Ages isn't crowding out the field. They have options, they just aren't related to clearing.

Because that's what I would be afraid of happening. Strength of the Ages made you compare everything to it, and rather than what the champion would work with, many times SotA would simply be the better choice because of its use in jungling. Same thing could happen with this Fervor change. SotA was such a strong pick because it made the champion healthier as they cleared; Fervor would make champions clear faster and be healthier as well.

I don't think it would be like that. Even if Fevor would work on jungle camps, and in return allow them to clear faster/more healthier I still don't see everyone using that Keystone. Say for an instance Jungle Mages, yea they could clear a little bit faster but it's not going to be as good for them once they leave the jungle and try to gank with a Keystone that just won't benefit their kit.

Also remember that the amount of AD you get from the New Fevor is dependent on your level (From 1-6 per stacks at 10 max stacks) so you could get 10-60 AD based on level. Since that is a 6 difference, we could guess that maybe every 3 levels the amount you get will increase. So for the first few clears (from levels 1-6) which are considered the most important imo you would only get at max 10-20 extra AD which isn't really a super high amount to impact the Jungle that much.

Strength of the Ages was always picked because HP is great and wanted on basically everyone in the game. No matter who you are, having more HP is always a good thing and up to 300 HP was a lot and was worth losing out on all the extra benefits of any other Keystone. If they made the new Fevor usable in the jungle then it would just make Fevor based champions stronger and more useful in the jungle.

And honestly, Would you really be afraid of Fiddlesticks Nidalee with Fevor even though they don't really have much or any synergy with it? I personally think it would be a great idea to make Fevor work on camps.

You've got me all wrong. I'm not afraid of Fiddlestacks taking Fervor. I'm afraid of the effects on the champions who want to take Fervor.

Strength of the Ages shone through as a premiere choice for junglers and all it offered was health. This change to Fervor would be a buff to both the speed and health clears which is the most thing on a jungler, as it increases both their autoattacks and the abilities they spam to clear. It would raise the bar for the standard for clearing on jungler but only benefit a subset of them. And you really are underestimating how great the effect of small amounts of stats can have on jungling; junglers can tell you how significant the differences in clears are with just different sets of runes, let alone chunks stats being added or removed. We are talking about a kill's worth of extra AD here. About that subset, the most popular and best win-rate junglers are champions like LeeSin Khazix Kayle Hecarim Skarner Vi JarvanIV XinZhao and others. Most of these belonging to that subset that could take Fervor be buffed from this change, especially the ones that scale with attack speed items or can stack Fervor quickly. Some like Kayle with a 52% on NA already takes Fervor despite how strong SotA is.

Finally let's remember that Fervor was changed to stack only champions because of its strength.
