Literally, just a single CC will make this guy drop dead like a paperweight... at least early game.... If you face MasterYi item 3748 item 3071 item 3931 item 3742 item 3006 item 3026 then I know your pain, but it's also fun as shit to play

That's why they shifted his scalings to bonus AD from total AD. Stops that build from being so effective.

That build is right now in 6.5, I use it all the time, it's fucking hilarious. It works great because it's not his base auto attacks that are doing the damage, it's the 3x titanic crescent on his double strike+devourer. I've literally killed the ADC behind the tank because he was standing too close and ate all the crescents to the face

he went 1v3 a kat (me) a gragas and a wukong could not kill him. Like wtf. Maybe one of us did something wrong but that invulnerability is bs. Kat cat ult when hes invulnerable and it annoys the hell out of me. Literally why is he a champion/ Its disgusting

I've gone 1v3 versus an adc, an akali and a bard. I killed the bard first, adc second and then meditated while the akali was trying to burst me, then immedately came out of meditate with an alpha strike and three shot the akali. I then ended the game on my own. It's what yi is built for, if he isn't slapped with hard CC he will eat your team.

Dead serious mate, also I gave that build to my friend to try cause he was having prolems with critchance glass cannon yi. As soon as he got BC after titanic, he got a quadra kill and almost the penta (I stole the penta cause I'm a dick friend like that). Also you can make it a 4x crescent if you time the AA reset on the titanic active right.

No, they didn't. They rebalanced him so that tank Yi doesn't do nearly as much damage, and glass cannon does, seeing as being a glass cannon is supposed to be one of his weaknesses

Tank Yi still does plenty of damage. And they did buff him slightly as his ad ratio on E is now flat across all levels instead of building up into a late game moment. It still does true damage on activation which means tank yi still does the same amount of damage. The only real nerf to the tank yi build is the ad reduction on titanic but really, that doesn't matter since the tank yi build, the damage is coming more from the crescent than his actual auto attack.

Riot messed up when they made Devourer and when they reworked Guinsoos. The broken items are the problem.

To be fair, he's not invulnerable during alpha strike, he's just untargettable, Kat's ult still hits him, AoE still hits him, he just can't get knocked out of alpha or be hit by a point/click ability. I've died a lot mid-alpha due to AoE damage

If your team let him get to 3 kills in less than 10 minutes, your team deserves to lose, tbh. It's bad to feed and feeders should lose. Fed enemy champions, not just Yi, pretty much make your team lose.
