Kassadin Magic Shield changed to grey shield

It's just a suggestion. Is anyone opposed to this?

Since the removal of his silence, he's only had the interrupt to counter mages, and that's limited to around 5 abilities. (ignoring his passive)

Morgana's magic shield makes sense, since if it has a secondary effect while active and so is beneficial to not be taken down by the enemy ADC's attacks. But Kassadin's really should be a shield against all damage types, since it has no secondary effect.

He doesn't fit or need to continue pretending to fit the anti-mage facade. Mages who sling spells so he can even use his E don't have abilities his Q can interrupt. His Q should shield all types of damage and his E should be changed entirely, in my opinion.

I'll bite, I do agree even if he is balanced now. Needs more outplay potential and utility.

Yeah, I'm not saying he isn't balanced. But their verified tendency to intentionally leave a champion weak after a period of strength should already be done for Kass. It's been almost 3 years since he was the unstoppable god of the rift he used to be.

Kassadin is actually an assasin, giving him that shield would make him quite op (i think) What i dont get is why cant be E spammed

But that's just it. He's not an assassin. The cost of his abilities, spell-count requirement on E, and the fact he absolutely positively needs ROA to be of any use make him more of an AP fighter than an assassin, and he's not even really good at that.

My biggest issue with the shield is its really really low duration, it has what, like a .5 sec duration? All the enemy mage has to do is wait half a second, which unless you're ahead isnt any where near enough time to instagib them, then you just unload on Kass and splat, you're dead on the ground b/c of their super high burst that you no longer have, even if they kept it as magic damage and just increased the duration and amount slightly, it'd be better. Though i will say, one glaring issue with making Kass' shield into a regular shield is jungle Kass would become a very viable thing, and that would be very very scary.
