So it wasn't okay when top laners started a jungle camp, but it's okay for bot?
We made all of these changes to stop top laners from starting on a jungle camp (pushed spawn times back, moved jungle xp on to jungle items to stop it giving level 2, etc...).
Now I'm seeing bot lanes (especially ones with good sustain, so either healers or tanks with relic shield) occasionally start a camp in order to have an xp advantage at the start of laning phase (guarantee first to level 2 by a long shot, gives a sizable early lead). Admittedly I'm seeing it more on challenger/master streams, but I've tried it in a few normals and it seems to work pretty well.
I mean, great - options for how to play outside of the meta are cool with me. I LOVED starting a jungle camp on top laners though (I mean, as a melee laner some matchups are just hell at level 1 - that's not an issue for bot lane as all ADCs have range and thus can still farm at level 1...) and I see little purpose to having it be a thing bot lane.
And full disclosure, I main ADC/Top. So I liked it top and it got ruined. I dislike it ADC and it's here. Why? I'm totally cool with both or neither (because then each team can get one, the way it is currently if your jungler wants to start bot side your bot lane is at a pretty big disadvantage...)
