can we do away with the LP system?

i don't think a system based on LP is very good, as many people play this game on new age toasters/have connectivity troubles due to your servers/get their ram usages skyrocketed to the point of league crashing out on them when in reality they have more than enough ram for league.

like the number of times i've lost promos/ lost 20 lp due to people disconnecting, failing to connect in the first place, or just outright quitting to ruin the game for everyone else is WAY too high. i can honestly say i have lost 200+lp to this. sure, i have my bad games, and i deserve to lose lp for those. but i don't deserve to lose LP because 2 people couldn't connect, or one guy rage quit. it's not fair. it's elevating people who don't deserve to be elevated because they're getting free wins, and it's dropping people who don't deserve to get dropped because of a situation entirely out of their control.

also while i'm on the subject, is it me or will i go 10 games without a dc or afker, get to my promos, have a dc/afker/troll, and then be put at a disadvantage in my promos due to complete bs

also riot please don't delete this. it pertains to gameplay. stop deleting posts that point out problems with your gameplay. it's really unprofessional
