Growing List of Problems Riot Will Not Address Until 4 Months

  • Damage is too high.
  • Damage creep is too high.
  • Mobility creep is annoying.
  • Healing is too strong.
  • Tanking is too weak.
  • Assassins are way too strong for the survivability they have.
  • Way too many champions in the game with similar gameplay identities, annoying mechanics in their kits, and remain overpowered. Stop with new champions and modernize the art of existing ones and do MINOR work on existing champions. Stop creating annoying champions that are clearly taking time away from other ones.
  • The jungle needs work.
  • Mages have very limited and bland runes.
  • Mages have very limited itemization and defensive itemization.
  • Tanks are made to be damage dealers more than their intended roles.
  • Specific champions are getting more than 2 to 3 reworks in one year; we are looking at you Akali, Aatrox, Irelia, Ryze and more.
  • Supports have yet to get their "rework".
  • Wukong has yet to get his "rework".
  • Udry has yet to get his "rework"
  • Karma has yet to get her "gameplay update" that was cancelled and any other work other than a back and fourth numbers buff.
  • Separate LCS buffs/nerfs from casual play. It's time to do it or step up and do the jobs you are hired to do. Just because it's flashy in the LCS and having higher damage in game is better for competitive play, doesn't mean the casual players like it. Fix it. Do your jobs.

A lot of these things were promised last year and have yet to actually be done. A lot of these things are MAJOR problems and a MAJOR contribution to why no one likes this game anymore. Guess what!? 4 more months and only 2 of the things on the list will be addressed. Meanwhile, we have a Development team finding more and more ways to take money from their playerbase in the form of a horrible achievement system and a gamemode they took half of their staff from Summoners Rift from. Congrats, your data shows you are a bunch of money hungry Developers that don't care about the game that players literally put you on the map for. Horrible Development team.

Damage was lowered, mobility creep is not real, healing is actually weak on most champions, Assassins are fine, mages have good itemization the problem is that core items are too strong and give to much like luden's, Why do supports need a rework?

Basically every riot said they do they did.

You're delusional if you think the game is balanced. The numbers and the amount of players complaining about things is a clear tell. Mobility is a massive problem with the amount of hypermobility on champions in the game, while other champions have to actually work to get their damage out and get punished by mobility creep to do it. Healing is not actually weak and it's only weak when healing cut items are built, which is a joke too btw. Assassins are not fine when they are one shotting, going invisible, phasing through walls, healing themselves up to full health, and doing massive amount of damage and not getting punished. Yeah, right. Mages only have two forms of defensive itemization. Mages who are bruisers don't have itemization at all. Supports need more items, better vision, older Supports need a modernization to keep up with new Supports, Enchanters need work, and so on.

You can sit here and tell me everything is great Riot fangirl. In reality, the amount of players say other wise.

Where are these numbers complaining? A very popular post here gets like 100 votes. 100 people out of 50 million is supposed to mean something?

"Riot fangirl" and instantly you lose any credibility you might have. Let me tell you something. Boards is a MICROCOSPIC amount of the actual population that plays league. I would guess that less than 300 people use the boards on a regular basis just based on how many upvotes certain threads can get and the sheer amount of times you see the exact same amount of people replying to threads.

You might have a different opinion on things, that doesn't make them any more true than those who have a different one. You calling people "riot fangirls" to people who have a different opinion on things just shows the type of character you are. You are the one who is delusional here buddy.

Damage seems high, but its actually pen being too efficient.

I agreed with you up until you got to mages, they are pretty solid atm and have access to item 3157 without sacrificing much.

They can self peel and burst even tanks because purely defensive mr items are all mostly crap, especially considering if you buy mr you arnt getting any tankier against the vast majority of things that can hurt you.

Mages are not pretty solid at the moment. Mages have two defensive items and that is 1 armor and 1 MR item. There is no "real" melee AP itemization in the game. Mage runes all revolve around movement speed enhancing. You can sit here and tell me the Sorcery tree is not a problem, but the Sorcery tree is a problem.

You say mages then say there is no real melee ap items

At that point you arnt talking about mages anymore.

I take issue with these two.

-Mages ASKED for their items to be streamlined like Assassin do for Leth items. I remember this before they announced the mage item reworks.

-Separating LCS changes from casual play hurts people trying to get into pro play, as they would be playing on almost an entire different patch from what pro is, and would have to do an immediate 180 with their champ pool. I get those players are of a smaller size, but at the same time it would be the same feeling if all the sudden Normals was removed for every perm gamemode and it became nothing but ranked.

If I remember, Mages asked for more defensive itemization as well as itemization for AP bruisers. Riot Game Developers didn't do the work.

Everyone whines that the damage is made too high because of the LCS and how much the LCS needs it for entertainment purposes. Separate it then. I'm just saying what other people are saying lol.

Ragnaveil2 votes

No, damage is too high because we (people who dont understand the nature of pen atm, I know a tank meta isn't able to exist right now) fear a tank meta that will never happen, hence why defensive hasn't gotten a buff period. Has nothing to do with the LCS. Why? Take previous seasons before runes reforged for example.

Wukong has yet to get his "rework".

His mini rework was put on hold due to the Artist having higher priorities.

Ragnaveil2 votes

Why do I have a feeling hes getting a model update on top of the rework.

Sukishoo2 votes

I dunno about that, they didn't seem to have anything like that there back when it was on the PBE.

Ragnaveil2 votes

They were probably focused on creating a working kit. Like think about it. Why would they need a artist if they were only reworking the kit for how it works?
