I wouldn't mind trading in some late game power for some more early game on Camille

She has great late game (well, at least the potential is there for it), but her early game is either awful or just equal into most opponents due to her not having any significant ranged poke or self activating defensive buffing / sustaining abilities (all her defensive buffing / sustain abilities need to hit enemy champions to apply). I see her as the Jinx of the top lane. She will not really get any significant advantage in the lane pre 6 all by her self. She needs a bit of help. But once she gets to mid game she takes off. And while that is cool and all, unlike how a Jinx has a support to cover her weaknesses and make up for her poor early game, Camille is in a solo lane where the Jungler may or may not even gank.

So I would not mind taking some of her late game power and shifting it more towards the early game. That way she will not as often become that dead lane where once behind (which is pretty common with her) they will likely stay behind unless hand fed resources.
