Imperial Pandaa1 votesI actually saw this today. Karma top with Spellthiefs against my teams Jax. Jax couldn't do much. When in jumping range, she was in tether range so hard cc basically canceled and she can slow Q and speed E herself.
We could have potentially won, but mistakes were made.

Did the build only become viable with the return of runes(hards)?
Imperial Pandaa2 votesIts viable mainly for range v melee. You cast something and auto once or twice for klepto. Which is getting klepto and Spellthief proc. You ignore minions except maybe cannon since they are worth more gold. The wave will constantly be pushing towards the Spellthiefs user which makes them gard to gank.
