maybe so but if they are masters as you claim then the people they are playing against would be masters of their champs as well. i dont know many master riven or lee players in bronze, silver, gold

Oh, the smurfs are there, believe me. But in Riven's case, knowing how to animation cancel perfectly on her basically means you'll be able to get off an insane amount of damage in much less of a normal time, and that leaves a very little window for the other laner to react.

As for Lee, I don't really have a problem playing against those because the same counterplay is there regardless of skill level. You just need to be far better about it when they come sniffing out your ass

That is not always true. I have a friend that has played pretty much nothing but Riven for years and years, I have watched him dick all over people with her over the years of her getting nerfed. We've won games we shouldn't have because we could 2v5 the enemy team, however we're both still stuck in Bronze :P

so you had someone "main" riven and win vs bronze players who are bronze. i doubt there are any riven master players in bronze what so ever. tell you what id bet everything in my bank account that there isnt a bronze elo riven master.

They mean a champion wins a lot. We must look at other statistics to determine what they mean.

Take Riven for example. At first glance she has a solid win rate. Then you realize that Riven players on average are mains with like 140 games, and suddenly a 50% win rate isn't good on her.

I don't like the Riven buff. Not because Riven doesn't need buffs, but because its a pretty worthless buff. Her ult isn't what needs the power. That just enables her feast/famine nature more by simply making her more snowbally.

I'm more concerned about how the boards thinks the Riven buff is absurd and unnecessary when the Jinx buff is actually broken and its hardly mentioned.

She gets ruined by almost every class in lane atm

She's too squishy, she requires too much time and effort to play correctly (which has always been true) and she's not rewarding. I'm not saying I enjoy her or Lee being good but it's complete hypocrisy to sit here and want your champs to decent but you don't want the same for other champs because they "aren't fun." There's really no champion in this game that is "fun to play against" when they're even half good and champions with lots of room to fuck up like Lee and Riven are much less frustrating to play against than easy mode champions like Warwick when they're good. Because they're impossible to fuck up on.

Win rate doesn't mean everything but ... but win rate is important.High skill cap champions must have under 50% win rate.

I agree with the Lee Sin statement, but I don't fully agree with the Riven one. Riven's mechanics are much simpler than Lee Sin's, and I have seen many bronze players play her at an extremely high skill.

I can understand if lee sin gets buffs, hes not in a good spot right now. BUT RIVEN, is FINE. Her above average playrate coupled with a decent winrate suggests shes not in a bad spot!

I agree that Lee needs buffs, but I absolutely hate how they tend to buff him, and this one is no exception. Now he's gonna have more health when he's right up inside my jungler's asshole 5 minutes into the game.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with either side. But if I had to guess, it's probably because Malzahar is a lot more passive. He can just sit back with his shield and use Visions + Voidlings to farm and harass all game long. If anyone gets hit by either of the two, it's going to hurt like hell. It makes laning against him feel oppressive. At least with Lee and Riven, they have to actually go in and directly fight the other person.
