A Word on Yasuo

I just want to comment on all the recent Yasuo posts

I think a lot of people are under the assumption that we all think Yasuo is an op monster who should be removed from the game. I don't think the reason for the recent hate is op-ness, more like he's an annoyance.

Before, it was Zed. The champion himself wasn't op, more just frustrating to deal with, but a good Zed punished you hard and there wasn't much of a way to deal with that as certain types of champs. He was also played a lot, so unless you banned him there was a 95% chance you were gonna have to deal with him. He had no mana and could freely farm from a distance while forcing mana and skillshot users to ration what they had while they tried to farm, usually ending up with you struggling under turret while he waited for lvl 6 to come...and then after that it was only a matter of time before you got poked down and were forced to retreat, or the lvl 6 dive ult ignite came.

Now with the Zed frustration dying down, the Yas frustration is coming more to light. He's always been a champ that people hated, but with Zed out of the way it's now being brought up more. He's just an annoyance, he's frustrating to deal with especially as mana dependent skillshot users who have a hard time hitting him with anything, seeing as he's extremely mobile and gets a shield off that mobility. He can also block any skillshot that's actually going to hit him with a wall. Are there ways around this? Yea...constantly keeping his shield down and getting him to use his wall, but balancing this while also trying to farm and conserve mana can be a struggle especially if he's all over the place during his vulnerable stage. He isn't impossible to beat, but he's just annoying I always groan when someone locks him in on the other team.

I personally don't think he's op, but I do think he needs some work. In the hands of the right person he's very strong, and while I haven't faced him top yet I've constantly heard how his crit damage is an issue even if he builds straight tank (not sure if this has been looked at or not yet so correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm sure there are people that come to the boards with "DELETE YAS HE IZ OP" which is childish, but imo I think that most of the hate is from frustration, because he isn't an op champ.
