A QOL buff idea that I think everybody will agree with, has to do with healing.

This would be a totally optional change you can enable or disable in options menu. The change is to show how much health you heal on your spells or autos if it normally would not show the number.

If you have 3% lifesteal you won't be seeing how much you heal with your autos if you aren't doing a lot of damage per autos, but some people like to see a +3 health on their autos and it can HELP them when deciding to fight an enemy in lane or not get executed in the jungle.

The counter argument for it being too cluttered is that this is a totally optional thing you can change in your options menu in game.

"This dumbs down the game too much, season 2 was better xd."

Not only does that not make sense but this change would open tons of play making opportunities for players to make crazy plays in lane or to figure out if that 1 auto that heals for 2 health is worth losing 100 health for a minion.

i actually like this idea. i kinda always wanted to know how much life steal im getting from my 2% spell vamp mastery. and how much healing warlords does at different health thresholds

isn't that already an option along side the EXP display and gold display?

Not for healing that is lower than the threshold to show the healing. The reason it shows for ocean drake is to show you the benefit from the buff.

Say the threshold to show the healing from lifesteal is 20 health. It wont show +19 and below with lifesteal, only +20 and above.

Problem: life steal is calculated after damage reduction and armor, so you would get a different amount of health back depending on the target you attacked, making this stat absolutely worthless.

That's sort of the point of this change, to show how much you heal when you auto an opponent the same way if you have a lot of lifesteal on live. This stat would be most useful for lane and jungling and less useful in the late game when sustain is a lot higher.

Does anybody know what the cutoff is before these numbers show ? For some reason I have the number 20 in my head. Not sure if that's right though?

That's about right. It can vary some if, for example, your base HP regen ticks at the exact same time as you lifesteal, you may get a higher number. But AFAIK, 20-30 is generally when numbers start appearing.

20 I think is the lowest, since you get 20 hp with the feast mastery

I think the issue with this is that regeneration counts as healing, so you'd have permanent +1 hovering over your head similar to late game tanks with red buff or water dragon buff with +20 appearing constantly.
