Mastery Trees are less diverse and not in depth?

Pretty much the title and here's my opinion as to why.

Before the mastery tree overhaul, it was not uncommon for people to create 10 or more different mastery pages and thats because every page served its unique use. It allowed many different combinations. Each tree served the purpose as well. Offense/Defense/Utility

Since the overhaul, it was more or less streamlined. While yes, the 3rd tier keystones impacted the game more greatly than before, it also in a way, simplified the process. My use of 10+ pages is now only around 4 or 5. Going from the diverse Offense/Defense/Utility that favor play styles to Ferocity/Cunning/Resolve that favors classes.

What are your thoughts and opinions?

Honestly I just have 1 page that I edit before every game and I don't use any other mastery page, because it's so fast to change stuff around on it.

^ This. Takes me 5 seconds to make a mastery page on the fly for any champ.

Riot is currently rebalancing several masteries on PBE and has stated that they plan to add more masteries to at least the keystone, tier 1, and tier 2 masteries. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
