Rune prison on Ryze's next rework
I think it should be a small AoE skillshot similar to Brand's W that cages you inside of it for a moment while dealing damage. I would fix his problem of targeted button mash CC.

thing this his w is its not telegraphed currently, if you make it like bard w could work if theres a slight delay.
Although might be too similar to like 
I'd more concerned with his mana ratio with tear atm his early game is really strong. maybe have it scale more per lvl.
