She can 100-0 tanks with 200 mr in an aoe and kill squishies before you can press exhaust.

Kat's doing amazingly well in Diamond-Challenger because she's matched against players that don't fully understand how she works, specifically her mid laner and the opposing bot laners. So when a Kat 1 trick is thrown into a game against players that don't respect her the Kat 1 trick just pops off. One thing to note is that Diamond-Challenger players are used to passive champions, not overly aggressive champions like Kat.
There's more to it than "she's broken". I'm not denying she's good, but compared to the likes of Azir, Xerath, Ryze and Taliyah she's a joke of a champion in higher elos when matched against players that know how to punish her, because she IS a risky champion to pick and play.
Sure, she snowballs like crazy, but honestly....that's fine, you were able to outplay your opponent and get fed on her.

No they won't, because they love and understand their champion. Most of them have been playing Kat ever since at least her 2nd iteration, and they've loved her since; some even from her 1st iteration.
They're getting elo because they're experts on their champion and they know their mechanics back to front.
Furthermore, you're referring to them as "dirty one tricks" as if you're likely any better than they are. They're playing a champion they likely enjoy and just happens to be good and now you're vilifying them? Real mature.
As for the "....moment she gets nerfed they'll drop full tiers" comment, it's almost completely false. Kat 1 tricks have played her and succeeded even through the Ardent meta and dating back to 2012 onwards, even through the tank meta. It's just that hardly any of them peaked Challenger from 2012-2016 because Kat as a champion was an oddball champion to play up there since she herself was an extremely risky pick with an awful laning phase.

Also, you have some harsh words to say when you don't even have the courage to at least post on your main/active account, because "Rexxiee" is clearly a secondary account given the fact that there are no stats. on it.
What do you play? Because if it's even a semi-decent champion (or champion pool) I WILL say the same thing you said in terms of "getting elo they don't deserve".

and yeah i would have hot-fixed this nerf to live instead of waiting for the next patch cycle but at least the nerf is there

I really have no words to how broken this champion is atm, i nean her stats speaks by themselfes aoe reset assassin with a 54~55% win rate in diamond/master/challenger.
