Okay so: Poacher's Knife: What if the user's Smite had 150% power?

Just thinking up random ways to buff this item to actually compete with the other three, because as it stands, I don't even think Nunu wants to take this.

The user could have 150% Smite power, along with the short movement speed buff, and that's it. No slow steal, no heal, no dueling ability.

Lategame, Smite's power would be 1500 instead of 1000, so there's a possibility of out-smiting your opponent, but it's not such a drastic increase that it becomes unfair.

Thoughts? C'mon lemme hear 'em.

then they def need to change it so that baron doesnt count as red side jungle and dragon doesnt count as blue side jungle. other then that, it seems fine

Why are they even like that if they're supposed to be NEUTRAL objectives.. that's just odd.

I suggested some more comprehensive changes here: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/imiW3JbN-a-hostile-environment-why-the-new-jungle-has-diversity-issues-and-how-to-fix-them

Basically it's kinda dumb to have a jungle item focused on counterjungling. If they really want variety in jungling items, all of them need to have some farming abilities built in so that one isn't a clear winner (you know, because the jungle is a LOT HARDER).

Eh, I honestly think the jungle items are good.

-Stalker is for anti-kite -Skirmishers is for dueling -Rangers is for sustain -Poachers should be about control, but right now it's easily the worst of the four.

Pick your poison, since all four are used for different things, based on your champion. And for the record, Poachers indirectly helps with farming; with this change, a bigger Smite will mean you can use it earlier, which means the camps do less damage to you. But on the flipside, it offers no combat effects.

Yeah, they're used for different things, but there are a LOT of champions that just can't choose anything but ranger's because they desperately need some help farming the jungle.

The junglers that don't need it, take stalker's because they're graduated out of the kiddie pool and need a slow for ganks.

And then there are the junglers who don't really need either, and just take what they want. Honestly I'd prefer a system where all 4 swords offered some help farming along with other boosts. Then you could choose based on the matchup, not based on your champion.
