Am I the only skeptical person about the bot-lane changes?

Dont get me wrong, if Riot pulls it off it'd be great... but... I dont have much faith in that. Let me also start with: No, im not an ADC main, dont give me that cop-out shit excuse. I hate how I have to say that EVERY time I make a post even implying that ADCs ARENT satanists who enjoy eating babies.

ADC is always Marksman for a REASON, because in order for them to work, they have to be able to beat melees in lane, with a support. How do you reverse this? There has been only 1 success and thats morde. A lot of other champions meta bot lane, worked because marksman THEMSELVES werent doing hot, marksman become decent again? champions no where to be seen.

So how do you shove a Melee in bot lane? Well he has to be able to beat a marksman... but if thats the case why play marksman at all, If melees can beat ranges whats the point of having ranged in the first place?

Well I saw someone say "Reliability" Well thats great and all, but if they are reliable that means either 1 of 2 things, they can beat melees (not what we want) or they are HORRENDOUSLY simple (Also bad, goodbye "Carry" in "Carry")

Morde works because of his EXP shenanigans. But how can you do that for EVERYTHING that isnt marksman. Well you could put it on an item... but that would break ranged, so you make it ranged only... which would hurt Mage bots which they also want.

I understand "Fuck MARKSMAN" Is a hip and trendy thing, and a really FAST and RELIABLE and EASY way to get upvotes (Similar to ADCs themselves?)

But if we sit back and think. Personally I much prefer 1 champion 1 maybe 2 roles. Than 1 champion 3-4 roles, another still only 1 to 2, One champion is just left in the gutter. As well as alienating actually ADC players, who like their champions for whatever reason they want, For the sake of diversity.

I understand diversity WILL be a good thing if done correctly. What I DONT want to see is Riot introducing new items for Melee ONLY and APC SPECIFIC, trying their absolute hardest to push any other champion into botlane. So hard that marksman flat disappear from bot-lane a fair amount of which have no other lane to be played in. Then Riot sits on it for 5-6-7-8-20 patches trying DESPERATLY trying to make it work when it is near impossible without alienating SOMEONE down there.

Again if it works sure great im happy. But I would rather look at it as unbiased as possible and be skeptical than "WOO ADCS ARE DYING FINALLY START THE CAMPFIRE"

EDIT: Also This is something that would be actually very interesting to discuss and not just be like "This guy said ADCs arent satanists" DOWNVOTE So uh yeah...
