i can't do it anymore

i can't deal with the toxic group of people that play this game. i can't deal with people who don't want to listen to advice, then get mad when they do bad. i've been playing this game a TON over the last 3 years since i started playing. but im finally at my breaking point. you don't dare get angry with trolls in game because of riots garbage automated system that bans anyone and everyone who says certain keywords, so you can just sit there and pretend it doesn't bother you that a guy is purposely trolling your game. you can't leave because then you get an afk penalty and are forced to wait long times to play games.

the only solution to fixing how caustic this game is is seriously "mute everyone at the start". or to play with 5 man premades all the time. what the hell is the point in playing on online game if you just mute everyone and don't ever say a word or talk to people? the premades are out of the question too because of how erratic my schedule is now.

im gonna stick to heroes of the storm from now on. because while its not as good of a game as league yet, the community is 1000000 times better. sure there are some games where people don't say a word. but most of the time everyone's having fun and enjoying themselves. the only people who rage in heroes are people who are banned from league and want to go pollute another game with their garbage. and even then, blizzard moderation is SO MUCH better than riot's. blizzard has cases evaluated by people rather than an automated system that doles out pointless bans and creates prisoner island normal drafts.

have fun with your sinking ship of 5 million plus douchebags riot. you officially have the call of duty of MOBAs now.

The trolls do not get banned. The people who get punished are the ones who defend themselves from someone acting like an asshole. You give them a taste of their own medicine back, they report you, and you get chat banned.

The system is flawed no matter how much Lyte and Riot denies it. It is FLAWED. The chat ban does nothing but make people more toxic, especially in ranked, because when you're trying to tell someone as Annie "Hey wait 30 seconds before we fight so I can flash ult and we will win the fight. DO NOT GET CAUGHT BEFORE THEN" You cannot tell them because you ran out of messages when you told the jungler "Good job mate!" for ganking successfully.

It is a childish system and given free reign over by your highness Lyte, and he just talks about "MUH PH D" and how he can never be wrong. The reality is people get mad in real life, there's going to be people you don't like, and sometimes you just have to deal with it. Mute them, play the game, try your best, and move on.

Let's be REALISTIC here. Chat banning someone, or banning their account for 2 weeks because they said "GG, guy fed hard" is the most ridiculous shit I have ever seen. It has also been proven that the system bans just from people reporting even if you said nothing the entire game. Of course the Rito SHEEPLE who mindlessly follow whatever they say because they can't think for themselves will always say the system is perfect. It is not.

I have been playing since season 1. I have run into so many toxic players I could pull a hair out for each one and be bald. Whenever I start thinking other players are the problem, i reflect, i take a break from LoL for about a week, I come back and have a much better outlook on the game. All you can control is your responses to chat and how you play the game. I completely ignore any and every comment in chat if it doesn't do 1 of 2 things, 1)Give in game information 2)Moral boosting comments. I very very rarely have to mute someone. Basically, most toxic players are fishing for you to respond, if you dont give them the response they want, eventually they just start playing the game again. Don't be the fish so to speak and you will be fine.
