Urgot gets into the middle of your team by pressing R just to remind you that you can't actually kill him while he's permaslowing you, deleting your HP bar and devouring the remainder of your soul for spending any duration of a game with him in it.

I might be biased due to popularity, I guess. I'm a bit tired of Zed, and seeing an Urgot every once in awhile is nice. Not to mention Urgot is a bit easier to gank (jungle main, so I guess I am biased now that I think about it). Tower diving... not so much. Yeah, never tower dive Urgot.

I'd much rather right a Zed over fighting an Urgot, you can actually outplay Zed and ccing him means death. CCing Urgot is just a slight inconvenience to him.
IcyPepper4 votesThe meta certain favors Urgot right now, lowering the enemy team's defensive stats, buffing his, and if a squishy isn't caught out... Urgot can change that. During the laning phase, however, Urgot's a bit vulnerable if your jungler knows what he's doing.
Zed right now is a bit more manageable, but I didn't like him during the assassin meta. But I do like some of the things people came up with to deal with him during his popularity peak (Caitlyn trap under the shadow, for instance).
But yeah, I'm a bit biased. Zed has his limelight, but let's be glad Urgot isn't too popular. He was hit hard by the nerfbat in the past and took forever to get a buff for a damn good reason.

Anybody who has played since s2 can tell you what kind of a nightmare it is to play against Urgot. He was left largely useless much the same way Yorick is because hes toxic as fuck to play against. Then they slightly rrworked him, which didn't address any of his actual gameplay issues. You're still left with a ranged DPS bruiser.

yeah, he's a pseudo-tank with a lot of harrass and armor shred for your carry to explot. I'm kind of surprised urgot support isn't a think
face of the mountain for gold and helping his tankiness, poke harass them til they're at like 50% then your carry can all in and surprise finish them (untested)
