Once again i must point out that the ranked system is judged by STREAKS

Not by how good of a player you are.

I was demoted from Gold II to Gold III (Placed in gold III) despite being 12/13 in WL

Simply because I went on a LOSS STREAK but had near equal wins and losses.

IT didn't show I didn't belong in that league, it showed that I was demoted because of a loss streak.

If you have a dead even w/l and you win one, lose one (EG: AVERAGE PLAYER) You cannot be promoted. You cannot reach and complete promos.

To win a promo, you must have a win to GET INTO promos, then win 2/3 times.

So lets assume you are on the win one lose one pattern. YOU MUST WIN ONE to get into promos, so you will lose the next one, then win one, then lose one. You failed your promotion, despite being STATISTICALLY AVERAGE you cannot ever leave due to it being judged by streaks. If someone with the EXACT SAME w/l ratio had won three times then lost three times, they would have gotten to the next tier then fell back on the soft cushion after a promotion.

PLEASE fix this broken system, and have it judged by wins and losses not how many streaks you get. The game is a 50/50 chance of an outcome, at is statistically NOT VALID to have to go against the odds REPEATEDLY to barely move up at all.

It has long been determined that the ranking system is bullshit and the matchmaking during it is troll. People have asked riot to fix it for a while. People keep spending money on the game so riot figure its not that big of a problem, they instead make more champions/skins for people to spend their money on.

A direct response to your complaint- welcome to the world of business

Are you actually stupid? If you went down because of a loss streak and currently have an even win rate, the only reason you went up is because of a win streak. You shouldn't keep your rank then. Also, if you win one and lose for constantly, you shouldn't be promoted, you're in the right elo.

The system is already (mostly) judged by wins and losses, but it is a bit counterintuitive. Div number + LP is not your actual skill measure; your actual measure is hidden & it's called MMR.

In your examples, both players would have the same MMR, but the Div number + LP would be different. They would be playing against each other and with similarly skilled opponents.

The system matches people of alike MMR, so it is pretty effective. However, Riot insists on keeping this number hidden, making it frustrating for players who want to see the actual number.

What the real problem, in my mind, is that they give out rewards based on your division, which is not exactly an accurate representation of your actual MMR. Meanwhile, the longer you've been in a fairly average win and lose rate (or perhaps just never have a streak in promos) due to variance in your opponents, you're stuck in your division, yet your MMR might be going up (or down) to represent your actual skill level, making it increasingly hard (or easy) to progress in divisions regardless of actual skill. Sure, they try to compensate by increasing your LP depending on the difficulty of your opponents except in promos.

Now, what I'd really want is that ranked MMR also affected your normals MMR significantly. I keep running into a lot of plats and diamonds (and sometimes even masters; even faced off with a challenger a couple of times before master was a tier) while I'm more of a low gold :/

Cant rate 10 people at once with a 1v1 methodology. Riot has needed to hire an analyst stats team to make a program for every aspect of the game since they blew up.

PLEASE fix this broken system,

There is nothing broken about what you're describing.

Ranked is about how good or bad you are Compared to other players. Being Gold means you're better than Silver players, being Platnium means you're better than Gold players, being Challenger means you're the best of the best.

If you cannot convincingly beat people, you don't deserve to have a title that says "you can convincingly beat those guys".

LoL's ranked isn't pay to win or some derp RPG settup where putting in time comes with a guarantee of getting to level 99 and eventually finding legendary items. You have to actually be good at the game.

that doesnt change the fact that two players who are equally as good can be stuck and can graduate due to streeaks

If you win 6 in a row and shoot up a division, then lose 6 in a row and shoot back DOWN a division, it seems like you were a dead average player at the original spot you were placed and thus, belonged there. So... working as intended.

To rise up you need to be statistically better than the average schmuck of your ranking. So if you always go 1 for 1 in w/l that means you're where you belong. If you often go 2/1 then you'll rise up eventually. There are a lot of derpy things about the ranked system, but that isn't one of them. You have to win MORE than an average number of games to rise. If you get lucky and shoot up a rank because of a good streak of wins... then manage to maintain that new rank by going 1 for 1... you belong there. Did you get lucky? Sure. But you are able to handle the new division you're in fine... so you're not over where you belong.

If you wanna complain, just stick to griping about "elo hell" and "bad teams" please. The way the system promotes is one of the least broken things about it.

If you flip a coin once, sure - there's a 50% shot you can get rewarded or screwed through no fault of your own.

With 10 coins - it's a 0.099% chance all 10 are heads.

There's a massive difference between accidentally winning A game and accidentally winning a streak of multiple games.

I'd like to point out to all you people sitting here talking about how x player is there because x belongs there. While yes, this may actually be true, Its more times not true. Now In all but 1 of my Preliminaries, I've gone with a positive ratio. (6/5, 10/1 things like that) Yet I've lost 4 out of 6 of my matches due to a few of my team members refusing to help the team. Now It'd be different if 1 player could ACTUALLY carry a team of idiots. However the case is generally you can't. GENERALLY it requires 3 really good people to carry a team. So in all even if you are on a 6 win streak, it may not be because of you. This is why I agree with the fact that ranked needs to be changed from a Win / Loss kind of thing to a "Well How well Did I do" kind of thing. An Example of how to do this would be like how they are doing the Fantasy LCS atm. A kill = 1 MMR, a death = -.5 MMR an Assist = .5 MMR things like that. And then base your rank, off your ACTUAL mmr. That way Support (Who don't get kills) Can still rank up. Now yes, I think each rank should have requirements for stuff like it, but overall this might fix the system. Now to balance it out even more a win could still boost your MMR a little, and a loss should bring that MMR down a little. but base the ranks off of how well you did overall will make for a more even ranked system.

A 1.1 kda is actually really bad btw. You also never went anywhere near 10/1. You're bad and you can't carry
