An idea for Lissandra's passive...
So, we all know that Riot has been trying to develop a new passive for Lissandra, especially since it hasn't aged well, and that we now have the rune Mana Flow Band......which basically gives her passive to every champion that could use it. Unfortunately, Riot hasn't been very successful in designing one, and since she isn't garbage right now, they have been focusing on other aspects of the game that need more attention than she does (like runes).
I don't blame them, but, I figured I'd try my hand at suggesting a new passive for her. I don't expect Riot to put my exact idea into the game, I'm just hoping I could get some ideas rolling for when they eventually return to trying to give her a new passive.
Anyway, here it is!
#World of Ice
Enemy champions hit by 3 consecutive abilities from Lissandra within X seconds are dealt XX bonus magic damage. Afterwards, these champions leave behind a trail of true ice for X seconds that linger for X seconds. When Lissandra stands on these trails, she is granted X mana regeneration
Only Lissandra is affected by the trails. No other champions, ally or enemy, are affected.
######I didn't add in numbers, because I can't balance it.
So, why did I go with this? Well, I wanted to give her something far more interactive than what she has now, but not so much to where her entire playstyle is shifted to something else. No, I wanted to give her something that can compliment her current playstyle. One of her most used combos is E into enemy team>W>self R. Most of the time, it's a little difficult to hit people with her E, since it is so telegraphed, meaning she generally hits everyone around her with only 2 abilities. This passive allows her to target a specific champ after she comes out of her ult, and hit someone with her Q.
Every now and then, though, she does use her ult to lock someone down, and burst them. However, she has always had a little trouble bursting down even squishy targets unless she is reasonably fed. Since you would normally go R>W>Q on your target (and E to catch up to them), the extra damage will help with exactly that.
As for the mana regen, I didn't want to completely take away her mana efficiency. I understand that her laning will get hit pretty hard, but that's only because her current passive is only useful in lane. Come mid to late game, it becomes effectively useless.
And yes, I understand it's a 3 hit passive, but unlike most of them where you just auto attack, this is a 3 ability hit passive. Not only is something like far more interactive, but it also plays very nicely into her playstyle, wouldn't you agree?
Let me know what you think!
