You just know you're going to have to get at least 50 S-'s before you can get your first mastery 7 token.

Literally happened to me with Darius. Played him twice, got two S/S+s in a row and got level 6. Easy as fuck.

Yeah, it's been happening to me with characters I'm m3 on which is scaring me (as I don't want to burn through all my "good games" when they don't get me tokens). Also, m7 is overrated kinda. People "expect" you to 1v5 carry games on m7 characters, whereas on m6 you can kinda get away with stupid mistakes.

I currently have 3 mastery 7 champions and no one seems to expect that of me - although I play mostly normals and am often against people 1+ tiers ahead of me in rank so... maybe that's why

Yeah, I only have one m7 (TF) and on the rare occasion I play him people almost expect me to pull out some crazy crap and hard carry their lazy butts. The hilarious thing is that I've been playing so many things against his playstyle (support lb, mundo) that my skill on him is probably the equivalent of a b4.
