Theres no advantage that a premade of 5 golds on comms has over a rando squad of 5 golds...if the rando squad is also on comms.
People bitch about dynamic queue when they really need to be asking for voice comms to be an in game feature of the client. You arent getting solo q back. Start lobbying for voice comms. Thats going to even the playing field more than anything you are likely to get.

BluePolarizer1 votesI disagree. Synergy is huge. I duoed for a few months last season with my friend and we barely talked. I actually used pings and text chat. We knew though how the other plays and what we mean by those plays, so we have followup, coordinated peels, etc. instead of one guy running in for a CC and the ADC who is low turn around instead of run, and result in a double instead of both escaping.
In pro play, I believe Royal Club used only pings in season 5 worlds. They got 2nd place.

Well. Thats pretty amazing that Royal Club only uses pings, but how many pro teams choose to use pings only? I think not very many since you had to point out a single example. You also said that you duo'd last season with a synergy person for you. Why havnt you found another magic soul mate in the past year? Well maybe you have, but have you found 4??
Yea. Synergy is huge. And rare. And not THAT much more effective than voice comms or else ALL the pro's would be using their mind reading powers instead of crappy voice.
Thirdly, since I play a duo lane am I not justified in bitching about duo queue since a lot of bot lanes are duo'd and I never duo? Doesnt that give them a huge advantage in lane as you say?
Well. The fact that duoq isnt a problem means that dynamic queue isnt a problem in principal. At worst, it is "too much" of a good thing. Thats a fair argument. But so is my argument that voice comms have a much greater impact than "synergy".
However, now that we know soloq will never come back, how can you justify opposing the introduction of voice comms. That would do the most to level a playing field you find to be very uneven. You might disagree, but there a strong argument that you should be supporting the call for teamspeak or discord features in client.
