Games are so short because no one wants to invest into the late game

Items, essentially.

Tanks got it easy because their items cost diddly-squat. They'll always shit on ADC's early game.

Quite a few ADC's have lately tended to prefer going straight AD instead of crit, because crit relies on RNG, and there are chances you might just get shit on when you use you have only 40% crit and manage to not get crits seven times in a row. Full Crit will usually outweigh Full AD, but AD is something that crit isn't --- RELIABLE.

For mages, there's an easy way you can get a whole load of AP. item 3003 item 3027 item 3165 item 3089 item 3135 item 2050, obviously. That gives you tons of mana, some decent CDR, some health, some magic pen, and of course, lots of AP. Do people do this? Goodness, no! People just start item 3285 item 3100 item 3041, because it's all you need to completely molest an ADC in the early game.

There are other reasons, but items is the point I wanted to make. This is why crit ADC's are "Feast or Famine." They're wasting their money if they don't get into the late game.

Tanks also have a harder time farming early game than any carry class. so despite tanks haveing cheaper items they build slower than carries anyway.

What, tanks can't last-hit? After the first cloth armour, the tank already owns his lane. If they're both tanks with cloth armours, then they'll both just be last-hitting, since trying to kill each other is a waste of both of their time.

If multiple players are in a lane together (i.e. sieging, pushing), the carries have an easier time last-hitting.

If the players are jungling, carries kill jungle camps significantly more quickly than tanks. This lets them accumulate gold more quickly and have more time to pressure the map.

item 1029 item 1036 One lets you last hit from higher points which is useful to kill minions when theys scale in damage and in health and one doesnt. You figure out which is which.

What are you talking about? I don't know if I've ever seen someone start item 3285 item 3100 item 3041 Like literally ever. item 3100 isn't even that common of an item, item 3041 is even less common. item 3165 item 3020 item 3285 item 3135 item 3157 item 3089 is a fairly standard build you'll see on a lot of mages, with item 3001 item 3151 item 3027 being substituted in when needed.
