Seriously, I'm sick of this item. If I wanted to play URF mode I'd just play URF mo-....oh wait, Riot still hasn't made that gamemode permanent :/
Still, URF mode cooldowns deserves to stay in URF mode, I've played with, as and against far too many 
to know that Shojin is beyond stupid, even if it isn't picked up 100% of the time.
This item never deserved to be let loose onto Summoner's Rift, it needs to be vaulted.
HateDaddy9 votesOkay, I’m with you - SoS in its current version is not healthy. But this is not an item that Lucian or Rengar build. It would be absolutely terrible on them. It’s really abused by 3 champions, and it’s arguable whether riven really abuses it because she already has absurdly low cooldowns through BC/DD. There’s no reason to make up non-sense to attempt to strengthen your argument - most people agree Shojin needs to be removed or changed drastically.
As for suggestions for a change: I would propose something along the lines where you can only choose one ability that can have its cooldown reduced, not applying to every single non-ult spell.

Check any site, and you won’t find Lucian or Rengar building the item. And it’s inefficient on them because they simply benefit from flat CDR, especially rengar. Lucian kind of has a built-in SOS.

both need to be removed. items that drastically improve the power of less champions than you have fingers on one hand and make them much much harder to balance right need to go. these two items in particular do so much that if you dont build them on certain champs they are substantially worse off for it. items should be a "do i want this or this for this circumstance" not "well i guess im getting muramana on ezreal again cause there is no other item as good for him as this" or a similar sentiment for renekton and SoS. or for the 5 or so other champs that can actually make use of these items etc

Not a joke when everyone disagrees with your point that a 2.5 second invincibility, the only invincibility in the entire fucking game, with good armor, cdr, and ap piled ontop of it is bad. How do you call that bad. Oh yeah its also only 2900 gold. 2000 + 900 gold. For: Invincibility, armor, cdr, GOOD AP, not to mention the building items to it. Seekers is so good. 45 armor for 1100 gold but it also gives you 45 ap. if you did the calculation of seekers, the value it gives is stupid. Also stopwatch? Yeah no thats broken too.
Now we can talk about protobelt :D 2500 gold for a mobility, high burst, high hp, cdr, good AP item that can clear waves very well actually. Ok so your gonna call that balanced. The cheapest offensive item that also grants defense and cdr, and mobility and burst. This is why AP is just stupid. Seriously.
