2 days into lethality buffs and Varus/Quinn are already back abusing it
Thanks Riot, I'm glad this was overlooked.

I'm actually okay with Quinn building lethality. She's pretty much a marksman/assassin hybrid, and if any marksman should be maxing out on lethality it should be her.
Quinn is an assassin.
highest and most picked build path is
being the most popular build and having a win rate of 59.34% and built in just over 10% of games (10.25%)
varus still sits below a 50% win rate and has for a while
even with the buffs to lethality his win rate didnt change much if any
from patch 7.9 where he was at 48.39% win rate to now which is 49.35% so less then 1% increase with varus abusing lethality
he doesn't even build lethality
When are we making
melee only. This will solve so many problems.
Next this guy will be asking for
to be melee only or something
I mean it's a SWORD. How does a marksman get any benefit from it. While we're at it, make
melee only too.
How does
use a bow? (Last Whisper pre rework)
bottom lane main..leona support twitch kogmaw and trist adc...
is now building these new items......the lane was lost as soon as he built it...could not keep up with the damage output...match loss.....no survivors [zombie-nunu-bummed]
: Did somebody say "Lethality"?
I know that Quinn is able to abuse it but I know for a fact that Varus can't. His poked build got nerfed awhile ago. Sure he still does a ton of damage but the CD of his Q is too long to actually do enough to win team fights and poke down enemies.
On the other hand I could see more potential in champions like Lucian, Miss Fortune, Jhin, or Twitch making good use of lethality.
Lucian has the caster play style and double tap in between.
Miss Fortune has a caster playstyle kinda on her Q and R, Q goes down to like 2s CD at max rank. Also she gains 100% a/s from W meaning if she can use her passive efficiently she can get off great damage.
Jhin can make plays from afar and his ult shots will do a bunch of damage even if the enemy isn't too low yet.
Twitch can benefit from the A/S from his Q to get assassinations off.

Lethality MF and Varus are twoshotting people with ease once they finish their lethality builds. Idk about the others.
Varus can't 2 shot unless full build. And if he does 2 shot it would have to be that he was able to auto attack in between. If he's against another marksmen there's no way he can charge up another arrow for the kill. If he's against a fighter he would die having to rely on auto attacks with a lethality build. You have to get blight stacks off to get the most out of it and the lethality build doesn't help much with that.
I mean tear mid varus was always kind of bad late game. Now it's much much worse that his damage ability is twice as long of a cooldown (unless you auto, which defeats the point of the build). - Redditor Deejayce on r/VarusMains
not as much as pantheon and missfortune.
Varus and Quinn kind of needed some love as annoying as they are to play against, its been a long while.
Quinn is intended to build Lethality. It's the stat that synergizes the most with her playstyle and keeps her at least somewhat relevant in this meta.
