Why wasant caitlyn ult changed with her rework anyway?Maybe if she had an actual ult she wouldnt be so bad.

It's not enough having 650 range and being oppressive whenever she is strong, she also needs to instagib people whenever she ults.

So because she has 650 base range means she is allowed to be shitty, ok.

It's not the range, my apologies for not explaining myself correctly, the above comment was more about Caitlyn being "trash"

Her playstyle doesn't fit the fantasy of a sniper, an skillshot ult would help but in the end she's still pretty far from it. Her playstyle doesn't reflect the finesse it takes to be a sniper, unlike say Varus' who revolves around his Q to either take out key targets out of fights just be a plain nuisance to his enemies with poke and carefully positioning to avoid getting caught like snipers do.

She would need to be completely redone to fit the sniper theme, and just adding a skillshot ult would not help her because it would hurt her current playstyle in the long way.

I've always wondered why Caitlyn's Ult wasn't a Global SkillShot... She's supposed to be a Sniper.... Her Ultimate would still be able to be intercepted... it would be only 1 shot... but it would actually resemble a bullet as far as speed...Maybe something twice as fast as Ezreal's & Jinx's Ults.... but it wouldn't have a wide hitbox at all... As narrow as Lucian's Q... so unless you had vision, you'd really be shooting in the dark... but if you actually got the hit off... it would do a lot of damage. Also there would be no "indicator" on the enemy champion that she's readying her ult.... yea ionno.. I've always had issues with Caitlyn's Ult... If anyone should have a global Ult.. then it really should've been the sniper... but that's just my 2 cents lol..

Because Caitlyn is a little poop that cant do anything but defend herself and rely on Vi. Jhins is someone who goes the extra mile to kill.

I would think the passive would be a better fit than the ult. Considering an actual sniper basically has no significant rate of fire.

Trust me, if her ult had the channel time of any other global ult, you wouldn't want it to have the width of a lucian Q, they would dodge it before you even finished channeling. Personally, I don't even think a skill shot really emulates the Sniper fantasy that well. The Sniper fantasy would be more about getting in a sure kill, by careful aim. Leaving that to a skill mechanic may sound satisfying, but ultimately make each missed shot feel that much worse.

My only potential complaint about her ult right now may be. It's damage is too flat. If the fantasy of the sniper is securing kills, then it should probably have execute damage on it.

A skill shot always feels more rewarding than a point and click ability. I've got to the point where its all about fun game play in which I the player have more control in my champions actions. Ulting with Cait is just meh. I like her, her kit is great but her ult man...I know Ult skill shots may be common on adcs but...landing them feels so much more rewarding.
