I've been playing this champ and feel like she is borderline useless. Her combos are ridiculous to land and the damage kinda sucks when you do land them. I rarely feel satisfied with my kills as most times it really is a matter of luck, not skill. Her ult can be very useful but I find 90% of the time it not really impactful and has a huge cooldown.
Has anyone had any success with this champ? I feel frustrated while playing her and after the game.

I've only played her once, but I imagine most is managing where worked ground is to be able to throw more rocks more often. She's definitely hard as a rock to learn, but once mastered she's a top tier pick

Maybe it's just because I'm in silver so less people know how to play against her properly, but I don't find her combos that hard to land. Her ult is hard to use though, and even with level 6 mastery I only get about 1-2 useful ults per game.
I've kind of rambled these past few sentences, but I'll break down some pros and cons I've found playing this champion (at low ELO)
Pros:
-Great early game. Not too hard to pick up a level 3 first blood in lane.
-Very low CD on basic abilities late game
-Synergizes with 
well. (Only played her once after the Rylai's nerf, it's not as good to rush now but still a good item)
-Ult can be very impactful
-Nobody expects a good Taliyah
Cons: -Doesn't scale too well with AP -Takes a lot of games to learn her well -(Kind of part of the last one) Hard to use ultimate -Weak to people who can jump on her (Zed, Amumu, etc.)
Final Spark Lux1 votesI played her once the other day. I honestly didn't have trouble playing her, but I have NO CLUE how I've ever died to her. I play her, she does 0 dmg. Other people play her, I get one shot. D: She is pretty fun though. I think you just have to try and rush some serious AP items to do any damage. Buying any form of mana might be considered bad...Then again morellos is a thing...ok I really have no idea ;_;

That is the only reason I picked her up, and stayed with her since day 1.
Her damage doesn't always come from yourself, but your ability to be able to kite multiple people and keep your carries alive.
She can do damage, but needs a ridicules amount of ap to do so, and that usually leaves her as an easy one shot.
My advice when playing her is to not win your lane, but win other lanes by using your ult to cut off the lane. Late game ults usually is just cutting their team off from baron or catching someone with no health who got out of the teamfight.
