There are only two blinds in the game and Lee isn't even autoattack focused. Why isn't he immune to them?

You mean like "why do champions with no blood still succumb to bleed/disease/poison effects? Why does Brand take damage from Ignite and fire-themed spells? Why does sunlight hurt Zyra and Maokai? Why are any of the item recipies set up the way they are?

Reasons man, reasons.

Though to be fair with Blinds and Lee Sin - Teemo's blind is accomplished by injecting a poison into someone's bloodstream, not just throwing an irritant in their eyes. Such a poison would probably mess more with you're brains potential to do things involving using your senses over exclusively effecting your eyes and your eyes alone. At the very least, it's not difficult to imagine it might have hallucinogenic properties given the rest of Teemo's arsenal.

Valor eating part of your face would also suck, blindness or not.

Actually, you bring up an important point: We can't lifesteal off of Heimerdinger's turrets despite the fact a fight with him really means a fight to kill or get away from the turrets, since kililng him doesn't turn them off.

But Brand: It's not his fire, it's someone else's flame. (thinking KHR) Zyra and Mao: Ever given a plant too much sunlight? Like, you know, a straight solar flare right on top of it? Not good. And the item recipes can be explained just with trades based on value.
