Riot need to take a leaf out of Blizzard's book and create a champion like Tassadar in Heroes of the Storm. For those who do not know, he is a ranged support with an activatable passive which gives him a large amount of vision and reveals any stealth heroes within a certain vicinity. Because it has a range, it is pretty easy to balance and would be a good ability to add to the game, specifically to deal with Vayne and Twitch that use stealth in a small area but would still allow Riot to do as it wanted with assassin stealth changes in other lanes.

Since item 2043 will no longer reveal stealthed champions.

Assasin update will make twitch a horrible pick imo. Katarina will be pretty busted after reading what direction riot plans for katarina. Vayne probably wont be that bad~

But then the champion with said ability becomes far too binary, and even the vision part is enough to make them pickban in competitive

No. The entire point of the stealth changes is that champions like vayne and akali and wukong and khazix who rely on stealth in combat should be able to rely on that stealth without the enemy team being able to make entire vital parts of their kit not exist.
