Old Champs Vs. New(er) Champs

Everyone always says things like, "woooOOOOOooOWOWOow oWo tHese new champs are OP!!!1!" because they have big jumbles of a kit. But in my opinion, overloaded kits don't make champs OP. Annoying, yes, but not OP. The thing that makes a champ OP is the fact that some give you literally no reaction time.

#New Champs

Camille, for example, does true damage autos, slows, dashes twice and knocks everyone away to make some sweet, intimate love with the ADC. Overloaded? Yes. But her true damage Q and W take time to charge, her E requires her to go in a different direction first, and her R makes her do a little leap before anything happens. Each ability she has gives their team a window of time to prepare.

Ivern, we can all agree is both overloaded, annoying as hell and not OP.

Taliyah simply loves rocks. But her Q is bad when used in the same place, her W has a charge-up time and her E only does damage if people sneeze on her rocks. All can be dodged with good reflexes.

Kled has a two health bars pull, crazy autos, two dashes and the prophecized Sivir ult buff no one asked for. Overloaded? Yea, but his Q tether takes time and has a short range, his W is an uncontrollable passive, his E... Meh, and his R can be heard from space. Each ability gives their team time to prepare.

#Old Champs

Annie literally just has a stun, three abilities that do damage and a Rammus buff that scales with AP. Overloaded? No. But does she have any reaction time? She can use her stun and all 4 abilities in half a second, faster than you can say "aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" which basically instakills any ADC who decided to ward a bush she was flashing her Mastery 4 emote in. And if you DO manage to dash away before she stuns you, her bear still stalks you with 100000 movement speed. That cluster of damage don't give nobody time to react.

Lee Sin has a two different dashes, a slow, some sustain and a knock-back. Overloaded? Not really, but his knock-back is instantaneous, and if he hits you with it, you're basically done for, since he can line up all his other damaging abilities on you with ease.

Malphite has a slow, bonus armour, empowered auto's and a knock-up. Overloaded? Nahhhh. Reaction time

So basically, these newer champs have been designed to be played around. These old champs that haven't been reworked yet have the abilities that don't give time to think, act, react, or even breathe. When these champs get fixed, league will become severely less cancerous and toxic.

Lee sin isn't an 'old' champion compared to Malph & Annie - those two have been in the game from the very beginning. Lee didn't come out until way later in the game, hence why his kit has so much loaded into it.

Still quite a while ago, but that doesn't mean his no-reaction-time ult doesn't exist.

Lee has way more counterplay to his kit than Annie does - Annie is all point and click. If you're in range of her Q or Flash/Ult, you take a full combo with no ability to dodge anything or outplay her.

Lee literally can't do anything to you unless he lands his Q.. that is, unless you let him simply walk up to you and kick you.

that is, unless he dashes in really fast with his W and Mobility boots and kicks you.

I'm not saying Lee is worse than Annie. No, not one bit. I'm just saying that it's another one of those instant things that people don't have much time to react to.
