Matchmaking is seriously bad

Just in flex queue, get matched with 3 golds and a diamond on my team (I am a plat). We get matched against 3 diamonds and 2 plats on their team. This is with my two flex queue friends being silvers in flex and me being a gold in flex.

How am I supposed to rank up with this sort of matchmaking? Flex queue is meant for fun with my buddies, but damn is it so stupidly unbalanced against us in so many games. Would anyone be surprised our double Gold bot lane, with one Gold jung helping, got stomped by 2 Diamonds in the bot lane and a Diamond jungle.

I hit Gold in SQ and expected shit to change at least a little bit, every game I get into though is still the same player base that's been the massive downfall it always has been. Still expected to carry my way out with bronze and low silvers on my team. No way for self-improvement when I can't do anything new to advance my gameplay, I still have to rely on a god-tier carry to get away from the nonsense.

I get that everyone needs a chance to get out, but there's a point and there should be a big point that no player on your team is beyond a full division below you. That has seemed to happen to me a lot since hitting Gold. In Silver most of the time I mained mid and maintained my 50%+ Win rate on the champs I always played, I mained ADC to get me into gold because it always seemed to be my teams downfall; but every ADC I get now, like legit at east 75% of them have had me matched with a bronze or unranked support. It's like what the f? The typical person that auto-locks Lux, goes auto Q aggressive and expects miracles to happen the first time they hit a Q out of the 8 times they tried.

Flex and soloQ have separate MMRs.

The problem with Flex is that it will ignore Solo/Duo rank, which makes no sense. Your highest rank should be considered and apply to the other queues. I saw this a lot trying to deal with games where a diamond player is silver in Flex... its just stupid. Riot has no clue what they are doing.
