Support Passives

My main points here will be what I think make for really good supportive passives, and what I think are very, very unhealthy passives for support champions.

Leona : Healthy if they for sure want her only to ever be a support. I think she needs to be able to pop it herself, but it's one of the best as far as supporting passives that don't hurt your ADC go. Lux : Opposite problem from Leona's, she shouldn't be the only one able to pop it. Making it so she has to deal that blow for the extra damage, and might take the kill is a bit much. They'd have to make it a smaller flat amount or a scaling %HP amount, but that's another thread. Braum : Very healthy passive. He can pop it himself, he can let the ADC pop it. Win-win. Thresh : Healthy but odd. I don't know what else to say about it. Annie : Good passive for a support, if she were just a support. I know she's played support because it's really easy to use and she has a ton of damage to back it up, but some of that damage should be supportive abilities of some kind instead if she's going to keep the passive. Janna : Not so healthy any more, with most other supports having much stronger passive abilities. Movespeed is nice... but it doesn't outrun a Kalista . Now Blitzcrank. His actual passive is fine. Encourages him to buy mana for his high costs, and a lot of mana items have CDR for his high Q cooldown. What's completely unhealthy about Blitzcrank is his ultimate's passive. The ability serves to randomly steal minions and kills.... And pretty much nothing else. If anything, it can also just prevent your farm, since an ally minion might kill the one his ultimate just whacked when you were about to aim for it.

Leona should never be allowed to proc her passive as is. She's already able to stick extremely hard to someone while tanking hits, she doesn't need any damage buffs (which allowing her to proc her own passive is what it'd be.)

Lux was designed as a mid champion, not a support. She can do both roles just fine. Her allies proccing it would be a big buff since she wants to be in the back line, and letting her allies proc it means the front line/Lux basically gets free damage while she has no risks (she has to get within auto attack range to proc passive, which is fairly risky for the bonus damage it deals.)

Braum's definitely fine, has clear counterplay and strengths.

Thresh's passive is fine, but he has issues elsewhere (namely, overloaded kit and does just as much damage if not more than other supports for the insane utility and tankiness he brings.)

Annie needs reworked.

Janna's passive is fine, previously where it applied all the time (and at one point, globally) was not healthy. It now serves to solidify her position as the Queen of disengage (and she does that ridiculously well.)

Blitz may need a rework. Not just the wierd RNG ult passive, but in general: Has a kit that revolves mainly around landing a Q: Either you do and someone is dead period (Q-E-R combo kills almost anyone) or you miss and are next to useless (not to mention his E is extremely bugged and has knocked up so many champions that dash/blink away even though they were double-triple his auto attack range away.) Also pretty dated.
