What happens if you reduce someones scaling, sustain, base damages, and up their cooldowns?

They have to start building tankier if they want to even be somewhat playable that's what.

I'd be darned if anyone thinks that the changes to Akali are going to promote playing her as an assassin. She lost sustain and damage, and now she also has to stick around longer because her ult cooldown is nerfed, so she now needs to build tanky to even be able to play the game. All of these changes obviously point at Tankali, the thing we are trying to stop. How can nobody see this?

This. If tank isn't good enough, she won't be played at all.

No, now she is like Ekko. Not an assassin. Not a tank. A Skirmisher. Someone who prefers small fights and can dish out consistent damage over an extended time. Someone who prefers 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 3v3 scenarios.

Well she's still going to build tank.

People already build her tank anyway.

All the more reason to keep doing it.

And all the more reason why she's a complete mess and needs a full VGU.

Good talk.
