Surrendering When People Are In Their Series

Please dont do this.......at least not the 1st chance you get. You wouldnt want people to do it to you if you were in your series so why do it to others?

This guy hard feeds top.....i tell him to farm at turret and he still tries to fight him in lane and just keeps dying.......team wants to surrender........i ask them not to and tell them im in my series....please try to comeback.......soon as game gets past 20 minutes they start voting....i type pls no and 4th person votes yes.

I mean its not going to kill you to play 5 more minutes to see if you can turn the game around knowing someone is in their series.

Honestly, this is the only real problem with ranked matchmaking.. games don't have equal impacts on everyone. What might be an important promo game for you could be a free loss for someone at 0LP from promoting.

Calm down guys when you're down 20 kills there is not gonna be a hero comeback and if there is theres like a 5 percent chance of it happening if people dont want to waste those 5 extra minutes they dont have to and if you're 5 mins away from losing the chance of you coming back is even slimmer.

Hell, don't surrender anyway unless your in diamond or above. People in plat and lower don't know how to end games more often than not, and will throw a lead away because they just make a mistake. I had a game a while back, in normals, the enemy team got 15k gold ahead by 25 minutes. They kept running at us solo and basically trying to do their own thing instead of grouping and rolling clean over us with their collective advantage, and the result was that the game got delayed enough for us to outscale them and get the gold lead over to our team. It also didn't hurt that I was like 15/3 by the 25 minute mark as Kha'Zix mid against a Lux and I would still call that the best decision making I've ever made in a game, timing my dragon and baron calls perfectly to when we could take them with ease.

I usually always have a never surrender mentality, though most of my games end with a surrender. My team or their team. In a competitive environment, other people shouldn't decide the impact of something so severely because of poor morale and unsportsmanlike behavior. Imagine playing a baseball game and just packing up and leaving because the first 1/4 of the game just ended with you getting 8 points and the enemy team getting 16 points. You just don't deserve an opportunity in something competitive from my POV, go play something else like checkers. Can't play the game while losing, pick up something you can't lose in. Idk.

Make a pirate ship out of toothpicks? Just don't give up halfway through . . .

I would say make a system that better catches griefers that won't play the game or sit in fountain and force higher punishment for disruptive gameplay, then those who decide to surrender lose 50% more LP than normal while those who agreed to continue playing with a surrender 'no' vote are saved 50% LP if they lose despite trying.
