I had that dumb "not able to connect to the game" error, when my internet is fine. Then I reloged, there wasn't a fucking recconect button. Then I reloged again and the game was remaked. All the while I could hear sounds from the game and I couldn't get in it. Fuck sake, I had 3 straight wins and good comp this time too, and then ofc I get this shit. And now it gave me 5 low priority q games... HOLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

No if you manage to reconnect before the game ends, you can still gain wins/losses however if you're disconnected for more than 5 minutes, you will get leaverbuster penalties regardless of how long you play the rest of the game out

Camnopg1 votesPro tip! READ: I've had this problem many times! Here's a fix:
Close the league client (you'll still hear the sounds in game even though you can't see it) Open Task Manager (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + ESC) Navigate to processess (Sometimes it's already there, sometimes you'll have to click "Advanced") Scroll and keep looking until you come across League Of Legends Right Click League and click "End Task" Close Task Manager ASAP Immediately log back in and you should be good!

However, Riot wasn't able to do anything for my lost LP.
"Unfortunately I can't adjust your LP or rank for any reason, so to avoid further trouble with this I'd recommend sticking to custom games or the practice tool so you don't lose more LP, or get hit with a LeaverBuster penalty while we are testing these changes."
After this, they ran me through standard troubleshooting which kinda fixed the issue. I still tend to crash on my first match of the day about 50% of the time though.
