Please just try to take it easy on each other out there.
Hi. I'm a top laner. And while I do occasionally play as a mid laner or a jungler, I mostly play the beefy guys at top. With that being said, my little island that I share with my little buddy up there makes us lose track of time sometimes. So when I finally check the score a few minutes in, and notice some of my team members doing a bit poorly and tearing each other's throats out in anger, I feel a little upset. My isolation up there makes it difficult to comprehend the problems and strife that goes on in the middle and bottom lanes, but it cannot POSSIBLY be as bad as you are yelling at each other for. I don't care who you are, where you came from, what is happening to you in your REAL life, or how badly the game is going. You have absolutely no right to tell someone to end their own lives over a digital game where you control a fake person with magic to fight other fake people with magic. I don't care if you believe that it is a videogame and you should be able to say whatever you want because it is a videogame and they shouldn't be offended and blah blah blah. No. That is not the case whatsoever. This is not a matter of "its a video game I should get to say what I want" bullshit. This is a matter of common sense and decency.
So please, if you are REALLY steaming over a game, try not to snap at your friendly team members. Just hold your anger in until the game ends, and take a break. Think about it, and then get back on the Fields of Justice if you really feel up to it. Instead of harsh anger at every mistake, how about a compliment every once in a while over something good? Try and have some fun out there everyone, and let others have fun too.
Afterthought: So... this post doesn't really describe how to respond to others who are angry, or how to respond properly to people like trolls and intentional feeders. I kind of assume the same basic principles apply: try not to be a jerk back. However if you do manage to snap, try to soften your blows a bit okay? Nobody deserves to be told they need to end themselves.
