I thought Riot said Gnar wasn't supposed to be a competitive pick due to being "unreliable"
Well considering he has near a 100% pick/ban rate recently seems to tell me he's pretty damn reliable

Read the Rioter's response's second point
"I would be worried if he ever showed up as a prominent pick without a specialized team comp built around him. Our pros tend to highly value reliability which is in direct conflict with Gnar's unreliable transformation. If he becomes a staple it likely means he's way more reliable than we intended."
