Reminder to Pay Attention to Your Opp Builds!
Recently played against an LB ADC. Yeah, weird, right? I had first pick, didn't know what my team was picking so I went Wu. The rest of my team picked all AD champs with the exception of our support, Thresh (thank god for that Thresh). LB rushed life steal and my team didn't take her seriously.
I thought I could kill LB later after taking some objectives, but no, my team kept on dying to her. So, I eventually had to leave lane to deal with her except she's already fed along with the enemy nocturne. Meanwhile, the enemy Malphite I failed killing a few times early had access to free farm and reached level 18 and full build before anyone else mostly on CS. LB used her CC on a target just to auto them to death before escaping.
My early attempts to kill her failed miserably. It wasn't until after I examined her build that I realized how I could stop her. She stacked so many lifesteal items that the answer was clear. I needed a Mortal Reminder.
This solution arrived only after we nearly lost our base. We managed to win. It was a difficult trial, but we won. And the unnecessary difficulty involved taught me that I must always recognize a problem immediately and deal with it as needed before it becomes a cancer upon me and my chances for victory.
